Everything seems better!

Maybe I’m still just in the afterglow of our spectacular wedding day, or I’m giddy with excitement over decorating our apartment with all of our new gifts, but I think there is something magical to be said about being freshly married.

For one, my size-too-big engagement ring doesn’t slide off anymore because my proper-sized wedding ring holds it in place!

It’s also assuring to know that you now have your own, new family. Not that it’s any more or less significant than my original family, it’s the novelty of acquiring a shiny, new, updated family that I’ve started on my own (Jerry had a little to do with it as well).

Mostly, I think I’m excited to spend the rest of my life with the love of my life.
